    i will follow you

    came across this oldie…
I Will Follow You – Ricky Nelson
brings back such great memories. when my parents were dancing & swaying arm & arm & staring into each others eyes, in the kitchen, to this song… :) and then i would be prancing around them and singing along.

    i will follow you
follow you wherever you may go
there isn’t an ocean too deep
a mountain so high you can keep
    keep me away
    away from my love
i love you i love you, i love you
and where you go i’ll follow
you’ll always be my true love
from now until forever, forever, forever
    i will follow you.

ricky nelson’s voice is so dreamy and charming. watch the video below and you’ll know what i mean.
ps-isn’t this a great wedding song? for a first husband-wife dance! :) i want this at my wedding. so sweet!!

    how unique!

must remember to one day visit The Rock Restaurant in eastern Zanzibar.

yeah. summer’s hitting me.. just want to go somewhere tropical, hit the beaches with fruity margaritas. yes, that’s the life.

today’s quote: You are writing the story of your only life every single minute of every day.

today’s catchy song: Sex and the City 2 soundtrack’s Can’t Touch This-Ricki Lee

FINALLY. watched Sex and the City 2 yesterday, the day the movie came out. due to the hype of this being the sequel to the wondrous first SATC movie, i think my standards were set too high. despite reading the already low reviews online, i still had every intention of seeing the movie in theatres. definitely couldn’t resist. of course, the clothes were fabulous, especially the shoes…

so many louboutins & platform pumps everywhere! love it!! the fashion was so glamorous.. but it didn’t persuade me to want to go out & shop like satc & the devil wears prada did… hehe. and a few cameos by penelope cruz, miley, liza, aiden, & smith. funny thing is, they all probably only totalled about 15 min of the 2.5 hr movie!! aii…it was so long & i was bored for about 3/4 of it, and the eye candy (fashion+men) barely made up for it. ahaha and i love aiden. he’s so dreamy & baby cute & genuine, yet instead carrie goes for big who’s just not quite the type of guy i like. hmmm or maybe its because i watched the series & saw what a jerk he was. anyway, i think what help make the movie was abu dhabi. the market/bazaar & desert scenes were beautiful. though it’s meant to be taking place in united arab emirates, it was actually filmed in morocco. makes me really want to visit the middle east… the moroccan desert just so beautiful. there’s no where else in the world like it. you can find beautiful beaches all around the world, but the desert is just one of a kind..

but still, i think overall the first movie was 5x better. there was actually a plot, and the fashion was so much more, without trying to be… how can you resist a vivienne westwood wedding dress? lucky girl…

hehe i think im going to rewatch satc1 and fall asleep to it tonight… :) so i can dream about fashion+new york+r&f .hahahahaha

You can’t change the past but you can ruin a perfectly good present by worrying about the future.
