Natalie McDonald, who appears on page 159 of Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, was a real person. She was a nine-year-old girl from Toronto, Canada, who was dying of leukaemia. She wrote to JK Rowling asking what was going to happen in the next Harry Potter book as she would not live long enough to read it. The kindly author emailed back, but Natalie had died a day earlier. In tribute, she became a first-year student at Hogwarts named by the Sorting Hat in Gryffindor – the house for the brave at heart – in the fourth book.

    Taking a breather from studying….
I came across these pictures, and I wanted post them because it reminds me of ‘The Sound of Music’! I want to travel to Europe again, someday! So many places I still haven’t explored!

On another note, I love the Indian/tribal accents in this room…the rug, the frame, room dividers and shades are all so intricate and detailed. I’m usually a fan of simple, clean, minimalist rooms, but I’m seriously in love with this decor!

Also love the interior design and decoration of these two rooms–clean white linen and gold accents in the shams and pillows and curtains. I definitely know how I want to decorate my future house now. :)
