Happy new year!

12 day trip to Norway in December turned out to be magical. Despite the harsh 0 degree C weather, the scenery was breathtaking everywhere we looked. In a nutshell, we witnessed the Northern Lights three nights in row, crossed the Arctic Circle, went husky sledding, visited a snow hotel & ice bar in the far North, ate the best seafood of my life, sailed along 30+ ports along the Norwegian coast, and disembarked at the largest cities to explore! It was a winter wonderland throughout the entire journey, and I highly recommend the Bergen-Kirkenes route to anyone who’s contemplating exploring Norway in Western Europe/Scandinavia.

Next up: Mediterranean & Eastern Europe in May, Orlando/Bahamas in Nov/Dec. Can’t wait for what 2012 will bring! Hope all readers have a fantastic start to the new year, and that 2012 brings not only health, happiness, and fresh new experiences, but safe happy travels for all!
